Cookie policy

Dieselwin Player Guide consists of static HTML and CSS and does not use tracking cookies or analytics. External websites and browser storage settings are governed separately.

What a browser cookie does

A cookie is a small piece of information a website asks a browser to store. It can remember a session, language preference or account setting. Some cookies disappear when the browser session ends; others remain until they expire or are deleted. Browser settings affect whether they are accepted.

First-party cookies belong to the site being visited, while third-party cookies are associated with another domain. Embedded services may set their own cookies, although many browsers limit cross-site tracking and allow users to manage stored data.

Websites can also use browser storage technologies other than cookies. Privacy notices sometimes group these technologies together. Simply linking to another website does not place that website’s cookies in the reader’s browser.

Dieselwin Player Guide uses static HTML and CSS

Dieselwin Player Guide does not set tracking cookies, run analytics or embed third-party advertising systems. Its pages use static HTML and a local CSS file. Readers can browse articles and follow internal links without creating an account or receiving a site-generated tracking identifier.

The mobile menu uses the browser’s built-in expandable details element; no JavaScript or cookie is needed to operate it. The site does not personalise page content through advertising preferences or marketing identifiers.

Because the guide does not use tracking cookies, it has no tracking-cookie consent banner. A hosting provider may still keep technical logs independently of the site’s HTML and CSS.

Browser controls and independent external websites

Most browsers let users inspect, block and delete cookies, either for individual sites or more broadly. Deleting cookies can erase saved preferences or sign users out of websites that rely on them for login sessions.

The guide links to independent gambling-support organisations, including GamCare. Visitors who follow an external link are subject to the destination site’s own cookie practices and privacy information.

External support sites are not embedded here, and their tracking scripts do not load in the background of the guide. Following a link opens a separate site, where the visitor can use their browser’s privacy controls.
